TUL Study Camp

Summer School "TUL Study Camp" is organized by Lodz University of Technology as part of the project "Promotion of the educational offer of Lodz University of Technology among the Polish community in Argentina and Brazil" financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) from the funds of the "Modern Foreign Promotion" programme.

5 participants from Argentina and 5 participants from Brazil, together with 2 counsellors, will take part in the project to develop promotion tools of the educational offer of Lodz University of Technology, and then, as "Ambassadors of TUL", they will undertake activities to promote Lodz University of Technology in Argentina and Brazil. 

During their 14-day visit, the participants will have the opportunity to feel like students of Lodz University of Technology.
AS A PARTICIPANT OF SUMMER SCHOOL
  • you will learn the facts of Polish history and culture, as well as the basics of the Polish language
  • you will find out about the conditions and atmosphere of studying at Lodz University of Technology
  • you will meet students of Lodz University of Technology and get to know about student organizations
  • you will visit the TUL campus
  • you will find out about our offer of studies
  • you will take part in Design Thinking classes on the subject of promotion
  • you will receive the title of the "Ambassador of TUL".
  • you will do sightseeing of Łódź – the City of Four Cultures

TUL STUDY CAMP FAQ

Who can take part in summer school ?
The participant can only be a student of secondary school or the first years of higher education (i.e. aged 16 - 22), coming from a Polish family in Brazil or Argentina and speaking English at least at B1 level.
When and where does summer school take place ?
In Łódź (Poland) at Lodz University of Technology on 8-21 July 2019.
What does the Organiser provide ?
A return trip, accommodation in the dormitory of Lodz University of Technology, meals and optional excursions.
In which language will the summer school be run?
In English.
How many participants will there be?
5 from Brazil and 5 from Argentina and 1 counsellor from each country.
How can I apply?
You must send us an Application Form, a signed Declaration of Acceptance and a 3-minute video to studycamp@info.p.lodz.pl to convince us why we should choose you.
What is the submission deadline?
Submissions are accepted between 1 March and 14 April 2019.
